Toro Y Moi debuted the first track, “Empty Nesters” off of his upcoming album, What For? earlier this year, and the track received the video treatment today.
The song is an early favorite for 2015, and the video stars Toro Y Moi’s Chaz Bundick, who also directed and shot the video in California. “Empty Nesters” finds Bundick producing a much more accessible sound, and the song is a pure pop-hit, with Bundick singing, “Let’s try to make another hit for the teens” followed by an almost sarcastic, “WOO!” afterwards. Either way, the “WOO!” hits perfectly, and the track’s chorus sticks with you throughout the day. Check out the video which features Bundick goofin’ off with the grim reaper.
