ODESZA have been selling out venues throughout the country, building a fan base and quickly becoming one of the most talked about electronic groups in the world. Touring in support of their album, In Return, out now on Counter Records, the North American leg of the tour is almost completely sold out.
Today, ODESZA shares “All We Need” ft. Shy Girls, a video directed by Kevan Funk. Harrison Mills of ODESZA states Funk’s “use of dark imagery to convey the beauty as well as the tragedy of love and addiction in ‘All We Need’ was a perfect contrast to the bright elements of the track while also playing upon the subtle melancholy undertones of the lyrics.”
While their music is always worthy of a dance-off, Mills brings up a great point. Lyrically and vocally, Shy Girls provide a somewhat dark side to an upbeat track, singing, “Don’t ask me to commit a thing/ if no one gets hurt what was it worth”
