Earlier this week, Jamie xx announced his debut album, In Colour, which will be released on June 2 via Young Turks.
Along with this announcement, Jamie xx premiered a brand new song, “Loud Places,” which featured Romy Madley Croft, forming 2/3 of the group The xx, for a mini xx revival. But don’t mistake this for an xx track, Jamie xx has done a fantastic job with “Loud Places,” which not only features vocals by Croft, but also from a backing troupe, giving the song a more full-bodied sound.
Today, “Loud Places” receives the video treatment, as Jamie xx has released a brand new video from directors, Simon Halsall and Jean-Baptiste Fugger.
In addition (I know, it keeps getting better and better here), Jamie xx has made a new song available for stream via YouTube. You can watch the stream for “Gosh” below and the best news yet, if you pre-order In Colour, you will receive four of the album’s eleven tracks. All pre-sale links are below, now we just have to wait out the storm until June 2.
