Gearing up for the release of their upcoming LP, Born Under Saturn, Scottish four-piece Django Django have shared “Reflections,” streaming above. Their latest album, due out May 5, will serve as the follow-up to their highly praised, Mercury Award-nominated self-titled debut.
“Reflections” is an intricate, yet immediately catchy, synth-heavy electro-pop track, expanding on the group’s history with imaginative art-rock. The chorus features a great hook, and nestles a groovy sax solo, which is always appreciated. Django Django’s guitarist Vinnie Neff describes the song as, “a story about someone who has dedicated their whole life to finding something, but only then realizing that what they left behind was more important.” That sounds deep, I’ll simply describe it as a genre-bending rock song, with touches of pop and electronic… but his sounds way better.
Born Under Saturn is available for pre-order here, via Ribbon Mart and iTunes.
