It’s a thing of magic, really, when two of your favorite artists pair together to release a song that absolutely fills your heart with joy. Today, Los Angeles-based Classixx have shared “Just Let Go” featuring guest vocals from Tom Krell a.k.a. How To Dress Well. The results are enchanting, bringing out the best in both artists; Krell’s impeccable falsetto and Classixx light and airy dance beats with a deep root in house.
Krell says of the song, “To me this song is about the meaning of spring. Spring as a symbol for new birth and overcoming. A symbol for truly becoming happy, say, or for just being free. ‘No more winter in your soul!'” It’s hard to disagree with that.
In addition to the amazing new song, Classixx have shared the full detail surrounding their sophomore LP, Faraway Reach, which is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2016. Faraway Reach, will be released on June 3 via Innovative Leisure, and features guest spots from Holy Ghost!, Passion Pit, T-Pain (which can be heard here), De Lux, Panama, and more. Prepare your speakers, because just like their debut LP Hanging Gardens, Classixx’s latest effort is destined to live in your rotation for the foreseeable future.
