Alvvays Announce Sophomore Album & Debut First Single “In Undertow”

Alvvays’ Second Full-Length Album, Antisocialites will be released Sept. 8 via Polyvinyl Records

The highly anticipated follow-up to Alvvays’ self-titled debut full length album finally has a release date, and a stunning first single in tow.

The release of the track was teased in a video put out by the band last week, and on Wednesday, “In Undertow” was unveiled. The song is a fantastical ride through a break-up and what comes next. “What’s next for you and me?” singer Molly Rankin pines in the song, “I’ll take suggestions.”

In support of the upcoming album Antisocialites, Alvvays will embark on a nationwide tour starting with an appearance at Lollapalooza in August. Check out the full tour dates below.

With the new track, “In Undertow”, the Toronto-based jangle pop band are right back where they left off following their critically acclaimed debut LP. Dually crushing while maintaining an impeccable charismatic tone, “In Undertow” promises that Alvvays’ will return at the top of their game.
